there is no abs switch. the light could be on for a sensor problem, pump motor, any of the solenoids, or for a loss of brake pressure. there is a switch on the proportioning valve that senses pressure drop if you have a leak. make sure your fluid is full, and go get it scanned to see why the light is on.

It is a junction block in the frame above the rear axle, and unless you know how to bleed the brakes, you should take it to someone who does. This is the worst abs system out there.
the abs light is probably on because it has a bad wheel speed sensor. 90% of the time that is the cause. i would get it checked before you start throwing parts at it. auto zone will scan for free and you will have a better idea of what your looking for.
the light is on because of a bad sensor probably ,have the computer scanned on it to see if that's actually whats causing it,that will make the abs light stay on,good luck.lol
