I'm thinkin about changing all the lights in my living room to blacklights for a party.. do I have to buy other equipment or can I just buy the black light bulbs and then switch the regular bulbs with them?

The only thing different about black lights is the coating on the outside of the lamp so just find one that is the right size and all is good.

If you mean the screw in regular bulbs, the ones they call black light do not work the same as the flourescent tube kind. The bulb kind give off very little UV and don't make things glow like you want. You would be better off to spend the $15 each for the small fixures with blacklight tubes from Lowe's.
