My light keeps turning on and off, is it a short or the switch?

The light will turn on and off and the fan will change speeds..I have one of those switches with all the buttons for high,low,reverse,med, on, off...the light used to just turn on out of the blue and not turn off, but now it turns on and off and the fan changes speeds

It sounds like a faulty switch. You might want to get that taken care of before it becomes a bigger problem.

try reseting the fuse i had that problem to go to the fuse bock in house and rest
it' a ghost. 2 points
