How do I change the light switch on my VW Golf Mk4?

I have the replacement part and I'm told its really easy, but I need some help please :-)

push the switch in and turn cloockwise and pull switch out then disconnect multiplug to refit connect plug and push in

your have to turn the old switch to the right or left really hard and pull and it will twist it's self out. i'm not 100% sure which direction. then you disconnect the connector in the back and then connect the new switch and twist in the new one.

I think you push in slightly and turn counter clockwise to release it from the tabs, then pull it out and unplug.
