there are only two wires because this is a n/o circuit. this means that the circuit is normally open so all you do is make sure the circuit breaker is tripped,
then unscrew the two wires from the old switch
then screw the two wires onto the n/o portion of the light switch
then put everything back together and
reset the circuit breaker
Can anyone help me change a light switch with only a black and green wire?
i could, but it is late in the morning, and i don't know how far of a drive it is to your house
Can anyone help me change a light switch with only a black and green wire?
Black is live and probably green is ground. You can check with a neon tester, if you have one. In any case, turn off the power and connect exactly to the new light switch as before, unless you have doubts about previous wiring. In that case take help from certified electrician.
