Hi,
Where is the break light switch located? I want to change it since the shift leaver is stuck in park position.
I could not find it under the dashboard.
I'm adding links to few pictures here. Could you tell me the area I should look at?

This is a 2000 Nissan Maxima.
Thanks a lot.

Could not see the switch in any picture. Look at the third picture, the brake pedal is plainly visible with the black metal brake arm going upwards. The switch has to be somewhere along the arm, get a mirror if the area is too tight to see up. There is a slight chance the plunger type switch is sticking and not releasing in which case a shot of WD 40 might solve the problem.
