How do i fix my light i turned it on and it went out i changed it and it didnt come on so i changed the switch?

it still didnt work maybe i didnt put the switch back in the way it was suppose to go can someone help me or walk me through what they think im doing wrong it has to be something simple i know that the light switch wire comes from the vent wire so its the vent, light and fan switches if i need to tell you more just comment and i will add more to the details oh yeah this is my bathroom switch in my home

Be sure that the bulb you put in is good check with a third bulb, if that doesn't do it then look at the switch make sure that there is power there you need a voltage meter or if you don't have one of those turn off the breaker and take the wires off the switch and twist them together without the switch if the bulb comes on then you switch is bad if that isn't it then you have a power problem call an electrician

Check the bulb socket. I've changed 5000 faulty ones over the years. If any wires look burnt, there could lie your problem.
Did you check for a loose wire? Before changing the switch.
